Folkmanis little puppets are sized for children’s hands and finished with the same care as the full-size Folkmanis figures. The little lop rabbit has a movable mouth and forelegs for storytelling, and its angora-soft fur invites a hug in between.
In lop rabbits, the ear cartilage is softer than in breeds with upright ears, so the weight of the ear pulls it down instead of holding it up. This genetic change affects only the ears; body shape, digestion and behaviour are no different from any other domestic rabbit. Kept in groups, lop rabbits establish a pecking order much like their wild relatives, though rank disputes tend to be milder. Most dwarf lop breeds have litters of four to six young. Their calm temperament is one reason they are considered especially easy-going companions for children.
